The EOS M4 ONYX is a high-performance industrial metal 3D printing system designed for large-scale additive manufacturing. The machine uses Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) technology, where metal powder is selectively melted by laser beams to build parts layer by layer.

The system features six 400 W Yb-fiber lasers operating simultaneously across the build area, delivering significantly higher productivity and lower cost per part.

With a build volume of 450 × 450 × 400 mm, the system enables the production of large metal components or multiple parts in a single build. It also includes homogeneous gas flow, active thermal control and intelligent process monitoring, ensuring stable part quality and shorter production cycles.

The EOS M4 ONYX is designed as a next-generation production platform, building on the proven M 400 series while enabling continuous industrial production with automated workflows and digital factory integration.
