Polymaker PolyLite LW-PLA is a specialized lightweight PLA filament that actively foams during printing, creating a reduced-density internal structure. By adjusting the nozzle temperature, users can control the level of foaming and thus fine-tune the density and weight of printed parts.

This material is ideal for applications such as RC aircraft, drones, decorative parts, and prototypes where low weight is critical. Despite its reduced density, PolyLite LW-PLA offers good surface finish and stability while retaining the easy printing characteristics of standard PLA materials.
